Platform Fee Policy

  1. Introduction

OLC – Labour & Karigar Hub is a digital platform that connects customers with labour and skilled karigars.

To provide worker–customer connection, coordination, verification support, and operational services, OLC charges a Platform / Service Fee.

  1. Platform Service Fee

2.1 Flat Platform Fee (Per Booking)

OLC charges a fixed platform service fee per booking, irrespective of the number of workers required.

OLC – Labour & Karigar Hub charges a platform fee for connecting customers with labour/karigars.
This platform fee is paid online at the time of booking and may vary depending on the service.
Labour/karigar charges are not included in the platform fee and are discussed and paid directly between the customer and the labour/karigar.
OLC does not control or collect labour/karigar charges.

The platform fee is charged once per booking, not per worker and not per day.

2.2 Platform Fee Includes

The platform service fee covers:

Worker–customer matching & connection

Booking coordination

Customer support

Worker availability management

Basic worker verification (if applicable)

Replacement assistance (subject to availability)

2.3 Nature of Platform Service

OLC – Labour & Karigar Hub acts only as a labour-connecting and coordination platform.

OLC does not act as an employer or contractor of workers.

2.4 Worker Availability Disclaimer

OLC does not guarantee:

Exact worker availability

Timing or punctuality

Quality or completion of work

Availability depends on location, date, time, and workforce availability.

2.5 Worker Connection Timeline

Typically, suitable workers are connected within 10–12 hours, subject to availability.

2.6 Platform Fee Purpose

The platform fee is charged for the effort and service of connecting customers with workers, not as a guarantee that a worker will be successfully arranged.

2.7 If Worker Is Not Arranged

If a worker cannot be arranged within 10–12 hours, the request may be:

Re-processed on priority, or

Resolved appropriately as per platform policy

  1. Commission (For Project-Based Work)

3.1 New Project changes Rate: 3% – 10%

For project-based services such as:

Electrician work

Carpenter work

Welder work

Painting & polishing

Plumbing projects

House lifting

Fabrication

Renovation & construction projects

OLC may charge a commission of 3%–10% on the total project value.

The commission may be charged from:

The customer, or

The worker / contractor

(depending on mutual agreement)

3.2 Commission Covers

Project coordination

Site communication

Advance/stage payment coordination

Issue resolution

Worker replacement support

  1. Cancellation Rules

If the customer cancels before work starts, the platform fee is non-refundable.

If work has started, that day’s platform fee or applicable commission is non-refundable.

For project-based work, commission applies proportionally to the work completed.

  1. Non-Refundable Charges

Platform fee or commission is non-refundable if:

Customer provides incorrect address

Customer cancels without valid reason

Customer sends the worker back unnecessarily

Worker’s time is wasted

Customer stops the project midway

  1. Payment Rules

All payments made on OLC are secure and encrypted.

OLC is responsible only for the amount collected by OLC.

Payments made directly to workers are not handled or guaranteed by OLC.

  1. Work Quality & Payment Responsibility

The quality of work and payment for actual services are the mutual responsibility of the customer and the worker.

OLC is not responsible for work outcomes, disputes, or wage-related issues.

  1. Transparency

All applicable fees are shown before booking

No hidden charges

Any change in fees applies only after being updated on the website.
