Connecting Platform
OLC – Labour & Karigar Hub is a technology-based platform that connects customers with independent labourers, technicians, and skilled karigars. OLC does not directly provide any services.
Independent Workers
All workers listed on the platform operate independently. OLC is not an employer, agent, partner, or contractor of any worker.
Payment Terms
For daily or short-duration work, customers pay wages directly to the worker, while a separate platform/service fee is paid to OLC.
For certain project-based services, at the customer’s request, OLC may facilitate payments. In such cases, the customer may pay OLC, from which OLC may deduct its applicable service fee and release the remaining amount to the worker based on agreed terms, milestones, or work progress.
Payment facilitation by OLC does not create any employer–employee or agency relationship between OLC and the worker.
Verification Scope
Worker verification is limited to basic identity and contact checks. OLC does not guarantee skills, experience, professional certification, conduct, or quality of work.
No Guarantee
OLC does not guarantee the quality of work, timely completion, behavior, or suitability of any worker for a specific task.
Availability & Delays
Worker availability and service timelines depend on location, demand, and external factors. OLC is not responsible for delays or non-availability beyond its reasonable control.
No Employment or Agency Relationship
Nothing on this platform shall be deemed to create an employer–employee, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship between OLC and any worker.
Limited Liability
OLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, financial, or personal loss arising out of the use of the platform or services obtained through it.
Third-Party Materials & Tools
OLC is not responsible for any third-party tools, materials, equipment, or services used by workers during the job.
Work-Related Disputes
Any disputes related to payment, work quality, delays, damages, safety issues, or personal conduct shall be resolved directly between the customer and the worker. OLC’s role is limited to facilitation and coordination only.
User Responsibility & Risk
Users acknowledge and agree that they use the platform and engage workers at their own risk.
