1.1 Online Labour Chowk (“OLC”, “OLC – Labour & Karigar Hub”, “we”, “us”, “the Platform”) is a digital service platform that connects customers with independent labourers, workers, and karigars.
1.2 OLC is not a contractor, employer, or service provider. We only facilitate connections between customers and labour/karigars.
1.3 By accessing or using this platform, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
1.4 If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the platform.
2. Platform Role & Limitations
2.1 OLC does not perform any physical work.
2.2 All labourers/karigars listed on the platform are independent individuals, not employees of OLC.
2.3 OLC does not guarantee:
Work quality
Worker behaviour
Timely completion
Skill level
2.4 OLC’s role is strictly limited to booking, coordination, and support.
3. Platform Fee (Service Charge)
3.1 OLC charges a platform fee for connecting customers with labour/karigars.
3.2 The platform fee:
Is paid online at the time of booking
May vary depending on the service type
Is separate from labour/karigar charges
3.3 Labour/karigar charges:
Are not included in the platform fee
Are discussed and agreed directly between customer and labour/karigar
Are paid directly to the labour/karigar
3.4 OLC does not control, collect, or fix labour/karigar charges.
3.5 The platform fee is non-refundable, except in cases of platform-related errors.
4. Labour Rates Disclaimer
4.1 Any rates shown on the platform are indicative only.
4.2 Final labour/karigar charges depend on:
Nature of work
Skill & experience
Time & duration
Site conditions
4.3 OLC does not guarantee worker availability or service timelines.
5. Booking & Confirmation
5.1 A booking is considered valid only after successful confirmation.
5.2 Incorrect details (location, date, work type) may result in cancellation.
5.3 Worker assignment depends on availability. If unavailable, booking may be cancelled.
5.4 Calls and WhatsApp communication may be recorded for safety and verification.
6. Multi-Day Booking
6.1 Each day is treated as a separate booking.
6.2 Platform fee applies per day.
6.3 Attendance is verified daily.
6.4 If a worker is unavailable on any booked day, replacement or refund may be provided at OLC’s discretion.
7. Work Responsibility
7.1 Work execution, quality, safety, and conduct are the sole responsibility of the labour/karigar.
7.2 OLC is not responsible for:
Accidents
Damages
Delays
Disputes
Work outcomes
7.3 All work-related terms are mutually decided between customer and labour/karigar.
8. Payment Policy
8.1 Direct Payment Model (Daily Work)
Customer pays labour wages directly to the labour/karigar.
Platform fee is paid separately to OLC.
Wage disputes are resolved between customer and labour.
8.2 Project Work Model
Payment may be collected by OLC.
OLC deducts platform/service fee.
Remaining amount is released to labour/karigar as per progress confirmation.
9. GST & Invoicing
9.1 Platform fees are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
9.2 Applicable GST will be shown clearly on invoices.
10. Extra Work & Materials
10.1 Additional work or materials may involve extra charges.
10.2 Materials must be arranged by the customer unless agreed otherwise.
10.3 Extra charges are paid directly to the labour/karigar.
11. Safety & Legal Compliance
11.1 No person below 18 years will be assigned work.
11.2 Site safety arrangements are the responsibility of the customer.
12. Cancellation Policy
12.1 If a worker has already started travel, cancellation charges may apply.
12.2 If a worker is unavailable, booking may be cancelled without charges.
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Direct payment disputes are resolved between customer and labour.
13.2 For project payments via OLC, disputes are handled after verification.
13.3 Local jurisdiction laws shall apply.
14. User Responsibilities
Customers must:
Provide accurate details
Ensure site safety
Pay agreed wages on time
Maintain respectful behaviour
Misuse, harassment, or unsafe environments are strictly prohibited.
15. No Refund After Work Start
If work has started, even partially, no platform fee refund will be applicable.
16. Behaviour & Misconduct
If work stops due to customer misbehaviour or unsafe conditions, no refund will be provided.
17. Emergency Situations
In case of genuine emergencies, OLC may arrange replacement or reschedule. Refund is not guaranteed.
18. Fraud & Misuse Policy
OLC reserves the right to deny refunds or block accounts in cases of:
Fake bookings
False claims
Misuse of platform
19. Privacy Policy
User data is handled as per OLC Privacy Policy and is not shared without consent.
20. Right to Amend
OLC reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the updated terms.

By using OLC – Labour & Karigar Hub, you agree to all the above Terms & Conditions.
